Novolux Warranty.
Warranty Period
NOVOLUX warrants that each Product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. The foregoing warranty shall be valid for the period mentioned in the applicable warranty period as below. (Warranty period is subject to review or may change without notice)
- Mini LED Street Light Series (Mino): 3 years
- Modular LED Street Light Series(Libero): 5 years
- LED Area Light Series (Exigo): 5 years
Terms and Conditions
NOVOLUX’s warranty flows only to Purchaser and non-transferable. No agent, distributor or dealer is authorized to change, modify or extend the terms of the limited warranty on behalf of NOVOLUX, in any matter.
This limited warranty only applies for product failure caused by original quality problem. And only extend to product under warranty period.
Exclusions to this warranty
- Normal usage deterioration
- Instructions and/or installation not followed properly
- Damage or failure arise as a result of any acts of god, electricity supply conditions
- Damage or failure arise as a result of abuse, misuse, abnormal use, unauthorized repair or disassembly
- Any other expense including consequential damages, incidental damages, or incidental expenses, including damage to property
NOVOLUX reserves the right to make the final decision on the validity of any warranty claim.
Making a Warranty Claim
If a Product is found to be defective, the Purchaser must notify NOVOLUX in writing.
Warranty claims have to be reported and returned to NOVOLUX office within 30 days after discovery, specifying at least the following information (additional info may be required on request):
- Details of the failed Products, installation date and invoice date
- Detailed problem description, digital photos or videos which show the failures
Upon receipt of claim information, NOVOLUX will issue a Return Material Authorization Form to to purchaser to fill above information. Purchaser email “Return Material Authorization Form” to NOVOLUX support Center. Only after purchaser get signature and authorized No. from NOVOLUX support center, they could deliver the defective item back to NOVOLUX.
Return for Repair Policy
Defective in warranty period: Purchaser prepays return delivery cost and NOVOLUX bear sending back cost.
Ineffective items beyond warranty period: Purchaser bear two-way delivery cost and related parts cost incurred from repairing and NOVOLUX is responsible for providing repairing service.
All defective items must be packed well before delivery, and authorized No. must be marked clearly on the packages. When NOVOLUX get the packages, they will double check received quantity and status of the items with the purchaser.
NOVOLUX may charge Customer for returned Products that are not found to be defective or nonconforming together with the freight, testing and handling costs associated therewith.
The standard Repairing time for warranty period products is 10-15 working days. Namely from the date when device is delivered to service center to the date when the device is delivered by service center. It doesn’t include weekend, holiday and delivery time.
The maintenance period is a goal not a promise and certain special products may not apply to this maintenance period.
Repair or replacement products will continued to be covered by this limited warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period.
